This automate measuring 50 cm. high with 5 movements, is a portray of a young girl  blowing bubbles whilst closing her eyes 

She is wearing a 1900 summer dress in Saint Gallen embroidery taken from an
early photograph.
The first model made obtained an honourable price
Actually, it is owned by the clockwork music museum in « Les Gets »
Haute Savoie, France.
Five copies with identical movements have been made, but each time dressed
differently. Four of these copies are in German and French museums.

All the automates created in my workshop are unique items.  They can be adapted according to their functions: drinking, smoking, blowing bubbles etc…
They are always individual characters.
Their head and limbs are carefully moulded in porcelain by myself and
hand-painted.
The wigs are made of genuine hair or mohair.
A brass frame supports the entire model.
The wooden boxes are either painted or covered with fine materials.
The mechanism comprises a Swiss musical movement.
The whole article is assembled in entirely artisanal style in my Geneva workshop.
I make certain moulds and prepare my own porcelain clay.
Particular care is given to outfits which are made from genuine materials and old laces
of that era and adapted from documents and photographs or fashion prints.
